Final Version of "soma". Unfortunately we have camera flash issues. I never took photography!
I painted the little picture with a toothpick
-------------------------------
"It will blast away the background and survive as something summery, with yellow and blue, sinking into a wall, outstanding in comparison, and captivating one lone passer-by who looks into it and sees everything he never expected."
-------------------------------
"Be on time. I must be on time. I don't care about how many flowers the flower lady sells. Go away. I don't want to see a pavement drawing. No, not me. I must get there. I must not slip or slide; be directly on track and don't run into a wall. Make sure my lunch is square. Don't think about that. No. What? I can't see it. No, I can. It's looking good. I'm walking still, but yes I like it. No no no. Fit in. Buildings make money. I like them more. Money buys me boots that I use to cross roads, and kick things and make more money.
pause, looking at watch
I can't. But maybe I will, one glance. If I keep moving I can just glance. One speck on a wall. A dot in the cement. Insignificant. Maybe I could sneeze, my tissue would blow over there, I'd have to go get it. And I'm captured. If I don't stop I'll miss. I'll miss looking into everything I ever, never expected."
it kinda evokes that sense of importance in that little art piece in the corner. its so small but it stands out and the man's looking it at and all.

Its wonderful, and I love you. ...What? You think I'm kidding? O.o no seriously. where do you live? (XD I kid....) Anyhow - wonderful tone set with the greys. somehow it's very gloomy and mute even though there's a strong light sourse .... Which is probably why that amazing reflection effect is so eye-catching. I'm also in love with the twisted dementions of the buildings. Such great work.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
